Thorough feedback and strong support

“Sarah helped me through mentoring while I was working towards my ICF accreditation. She is an excellent coach and mentor with a graceful combination of being truly professional, giving thorough feedback and strong support. I appreciated her attentive manner in which she picked up not only on what was said in my coaching sessions but on what wasn’t said. She has a talent for putting challenges in a new light.Sarah’s solid experience and warm personality makes working with her not only productive but also a real pleasure.”

– Fredrika Rylander, executive leadership coach

A skillful combination of honesty and kindness

“I joined Sarah’s Group Mentoring course to gain my ICF credential. I knew it would fulfil the ICF requirement but it was so much more!Sarah created a safe space for us to practice our coaching and learn from each other. When providing feedback, Sarah respected the unique style of each coach and acknowledged our strengths and all that we bring to coaching. Feedback on stretch areas was delivered with a skilful combination of honesty and kindness.By far the most valuable piece of CPD since my initial coach training resulting in sharp coaching skills and a strong sense of confidence. Thank you, Sarah!”

– Emma Hackett, wellbeing coach, outplacement and career transition coach, mental health first aider

Honing my skills

“I came to Sarah for mentor coaching as I was preparing to submit my application for ICF accreditation at ACC level.
I was very nervous going into the initial session but was soon put at ease by Sarah and the rest of the group coaching members.I wanted to improve my coaching skills and eliminate any bad habits that I had. The mentoring sessions did exactly this. I was quickly able to highlight areas for growth and was able to spend the following sessions honing my skills.I feel that I have made huge progress over the last 3 months and am sad to see the sessions end. I highly recommend Sarah, I don’t think you will find a more supportive mentor.”

– Naomi Morgan, european head of Arete Coach

Uncovered new learnings

“I came to mentoring to advance my understanding and knowledge of the ICF core competencies in real time and with other people. With a process that was detailed and well-managed, Sarah created a safe environment, built on genuine knowledge and depth of feedback. I felt able to be open and honest, and found the feedback from the other coaches in the group highly impactful. In reviewing the videos of my coaching in our one-to-one mentoring sessions, I uncovered new learnings and thinking around ways to approach a coaching session. My understanding of the new core competencies and my ability to draw on them in the moment has increased, as has my confidence and my appreciation of other styles of coaching.”

– Roy Allan, director at Roancoach Consulting Ltd

Benchmark against the ICF Core Competencies

“Mentoring with Sarah gave me the opportunity to benchmark my coaching practice against the ICF core competencies, as well as the chance to connect in a group with coaches going through a similar experience.Sarah nudged me towards greater competency and stretch by spotting opportunities to improve, e.g., simplifying questions, avoiding stacking, and trusting my own intuition. The group and one-to-one sessions were held in a safe, supportive space helping me to acknowledge my strengths, brush up on my techniques, and, through deeper analysis, bring a new awareness to my coaching practice. All resulting in increased self-confidence and an improved coaching style.”

– Jo Pinkerton, senior HR manager and coach

Empowering and supportive

“I found Sarah through a recommendation having had a sub-par experience of mentoring as part of the PCC process. She was warm, encouraging, accomplished and very professional, providing a safe space to develop our skills in a group setting. Her approach was empowering and supportive which helped us forget we were being watched as we coached and develop to the max.Sarah has high EQ and low ego – she’s also great value for money – all round 5 Star!”

– Mel Pritchard, life and career coach

An appreciative approach

“I highly recommend Sarah as a group mentor coach.
In the group I participated in, Sarah created a safe learning space which allowed everyone to be open and vulnerable and lean into the learning. Sarah was great at calling out the coaches’ strengths and help them build on those. Her feedback was very balanced and supportive, always encouraging and constructive. Many coaches tend to be hard on themselves (including myself), and Sarah’s appreciative approach helped me notice my strengths, use them more intentionally, and feel more confident.”

– Silke Janz, leadership coach, leadership & team development expert

Laser focus on coaching skills

“I joined Sarah’s group mentoring course as part of my ACC credential renewal process. I got so much out of it – the peer practice, having real time feedback on my coaching and also the privilege of witnessing others in the group coach.
Sarah creates a supportive, warm atmosphere in which to take risks with your coaching. The 1:1 sessions with Sarah were also so supportive and constructive. To have this opportunity to laser focus on coaching skills is invaluable.I know it has made a big impact on my coaching and I hope to have the opportunity to work with Sarah again in the future.”

– Elle Pendry, certified professional coach

A systematic approach

“I am delighted to say that I just received my ICF PCC accreditation and Sarah has been instrumental in my accreditation journey. In January 2020 I joined the Group Mentoring Sessions for my ACC and I loved Sarah’s feedback on my coaching. Sarah uses a very systematic approach to give feedback on strengths and stretch observations, using the ICF Core Competencies. Sarah has a real skill around putting people at ease and making you think about how you can improve.I signed up for my second round of Group Mentoring in May 2021, this time for my PCC accreditation. I already knew Sarah, of course, so this time I was intrigued to see how she would guide me. Again, her communication skill was amazing. She really made me think and gently pushed me to do even better.Rarely have I spoken to a fellow coach who is so in tune and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Sarah as a Mentor.”

– Wanda van Gelderen, career development coach

Reintroducing rigour and reflection

“I joined Sarah’s Group and Individual Mentoring Programmes as part of my CPD and ICF credential renewal, and have also worked with her in a professional coaching capacity.Sarah’s mentoring has hugely benefitted my own coaching practice, reintroducing rigour, reflection, high standards and confidence. Sarah’s coaching really helped me to identify blocks and gain insight into ways forward. Her approach is both pragmatic and insightful, open, flexible, and gently held me to account, which was just what I needed. I’ve been able to work at my own pace. I would highly recommend Sarah’s Mentoring and Coaching!”

– Paula Evans, neurodiversity coach and consultant

Safe to be vulnerable

“It has been incredibly valuable to observe other coaches coach, as well as gain feedback on my own coaching: challenging my beginnings, middles and endings.I felt safe to be vulnerable and benefited from being able to apply my learnings immediately in my coaching.Through the feedback and self-reflection, I have solidified what I do well, and what more I can stretch in the service of my clients. This has been such a valuable experience that I plan to continue a mentoring relationship with Sarah on a regular basis.”

– Cass Coulston, executive and team coach

My confidence grew

“I highly recommend coach mentoring with Sarah Fraser of Happiness Express. Her group sessions are very well organised, with ample opportunity for each mentee to coach (and be coached) and receive very thorough feedback and suggestions for skill stretching. My confidence as a coach grew from the outset, and so I also chose to work with her for individual mentoring sessions, which enabled me to apply for ICF ACC accreditation.”

– Caroline, positive psychology and life coach

Free to explore new avenues

“Sarah creates a great space for a group to work together. She establishes clear boundaries, but leaves the coaches free to explore new avenues. Great group work. Thank you, Sarah!”

– Louise, executive coach

A lot of progress in a short space of time

“Mentoring with Sarah has been a pleasure from start to finish. I found Sarah’s mentoring package via her easy-to-navigate website and booked in for a call. She was able to answer my questions and I went ahead and booked the package.
The coaching was in a small group which Sarah facilitated well, I felt I was able to contribute to conversations safely and learn from other people’s opinions. I really enjoyed the 1:1 sessions, which were easy to book, I felt like I made a lot of progress with my coaching in a relatively short space of time.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sarah’s mentoring programmes – go ahead and book in!”

– Sarah Williamson, sober coach

Sarah made it easy and made it stick!

“Sarah is a sensitive, organised, encouraging coach who made this a truly fantastic programme. The experience pivoted from intimidating to exciting. She made it all so easy and made it stick!”

Sarah Sutton, integrative leadership coach & team trainer

“I worked with Sarah to assist with my application to the ICF for ACC accreditation. Sarah’s naturally supportive style and acute observations and feedback were very valuable in helping me to hone my coaching skills and personal style.
At the end of the process I felt so much more confident about my ability, and able to own and be proud of my unique coaching style. Thank you Sarah.”
